Factory Scheduled & Preventative Maintenance

Suburb Service, an independent Subaru repair facility, provides scheduled maintenance that fulfills factory warranty obligations, per the factory service manual requirements, and still costs less than the dealership. Plus we pay attention to a few other details to ensure your Subaru stays in tip top shape despite the particular demands of Seattle weather and traffic. Details like changing your transmission fluid every 15,000 miles since our stop-and-go freeways are hard on the tranny. Some places cut corners to save money and time, but we want to see you for your 200,000 mile service, so we take extra care to do scheduled maintenance right.

Car running hot? Does it overheat going up the pass? Maybe you need a new water pump, radiator, or maybe it's just a blown hose. We'll figure out the problem and cool you off.
Engine Service
All cars leak oil, some faster than others. If you're messing up your garage floor, come see us for new gaskets, pumps, and seals. Engine feels sluggish? Just doesn't have the "pep" it used to? Maybe it's a blown head or intake manifold gasket. Valve jobs, engine replacement, engine reseals, we do those too.
Powertrain Service
Clutch slipping? We'll get you a new one. Transmission problems? We'll figure it out and make it right.

Brake Service
Squeaky, bumpy, thumpy feel when you step on the stoppers? Time for brake service. We can do new factory pads and rotors for less than you might think!
Suspension & Running Gear Service
Older (up to '94) Legacy LS and GL10's have pneumatic struts. We'll convert those to standard struts which last longer give a better ride. If your ride just isn't what it used to be we can replace old worn struts and ball joints, too. If your Subaru clicks and pops when you are turning, you might need to replace a worn drive axle. We'd be happy to help.
Exhaust
You won't pass emissions with a hole in your muffler. From the Y-pipe to the tail-pipe we can fix it.
